Does She Know?

By: Rhode

When I gaze into her eyes,
I see all that I am all I could become, all I wish to be.
I see the women that is she, the power she denies.
Does she know?

Crystal blue eyes like a laser do they dart.
To the center of my being, to the center of my soul.
Like a gentle sunbeam that filters the early morn.
Does she know?

I would die for her, live for her.
Follow her to the end of time.
Such is the power of her eyes.
Does she know?

I tell my tales because of her.
I dream my dreams because of her.
She calls me her source, her light.
She is my soul, my reason for being.
Does she know?
